About Us
Set in rural Cornwall just 15 miles from Plymouth, 6 miles from Liskeard and 12.5 miles from HMS Raleigh in a small, but conveniently situated hamlet, close to the moors, beaches and popular seaside towns of Looe and Polperro. Sleeps 5/7 in two large bedrooms and a sofa bed in the large spacious lounge.
The property is accessed through a shared entrance vestibule (shared with owner) through its own double doors into a large hallway and accessing the reverse style accommodation with both bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor, with a large lounge/dining room on the first floor.
The modern kitchen has washing machine, oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle & toaster.
Bedroom one, a king-size and a single day bed. Bedroom two a super king-size bed which can be converted easily into two singles. All bedrooms have wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Modern large bathroom with corner bath and overhead shower.
The extremely spacious and characterful lounge/dining area has comfy sofas (one of which is a sofa bed), TV, DVD, Xbox (with a cou of games), CD player, dining table and chairs for 6. (The TV has a Sky box where guests who have a viewing card can watch their own usual channels).
Outside there is a pretty enclosed courtyard with a large decked area with seating/ dining space for 8. BBQ and fire bowl available for guests use. Guests are also welcome to make use of the owners large garden area at the front of the barn should they desire. Ample off road parking for 2+ cars is available. Sorry No Pets or smoking at the property.
There are many traditional pubs in the nearby area our closest being the Butchers Arms at St. Ive (5 minute drive) which is well worth a visit, the food is hearty and reasonably priced and on Thursdays even boasts fish and Chips to takeaway. We highly recommend a visit.
There are supermarkets nearby, Waitrose and Lidl in Saltash, Morrisons and Aldi in Liskeard, Callington has a Tesco. Tesco, Sainsburys and Waitrose will deliver groceries to the door via their website.
